We booked into a caravan park overlooking the water.
The sites weren't very big - hardly room to pull out the awning. And the car had to be parked at the front of the van. (But I no complain!!!!) We stayed two nights.
We went into town to take some photos of a beautiful bronze statue of Makybe Diva whose owner is from the area.
We also had a quick look at the town before heading back to the park.
The following day we packed our picnic and set off to explore. We drove to Whalers Way, a National Park about 30klms from Port Lincoln. What an amazing place. We stopped at a lookout to take some photos.
I walked down some steps to take a photo looking up and slipped. Luckily I sat down and it stopped my slide. Could have been nasty. Everyone was busy talking and I could have slipped over the edge and into the water. Horrible thought. It would really have spoilt my holiday LOL.

We stopped to have our lunch. Firstly we had yummy cheeses, biscuits and a drop of Cab Merlot (which Tony wore when the cork had to be pushed in because no one had a corkscrew and the wine was forced out the top of the bottle ), delicious chicken & salad sandwiches, fruit cake for dessert and tea and coffee.
