Arnold swimming underwater
From there we drove to Douglas Hot Springs where we stayed. This is a national park and was only $4.50 a head which you pay by putting the money in an envelope they supply and putting it in a type of letterbox. This is emptied every couple of days.

Day two saw us checking out the camp,
and walking down to the river to see where the swimming area was. It looked good so we went back to the van, had some lunch, then went down to the water.
We left Douglas Hot Springs and drove to Banyan Farm Tourist Park on the Daly River.
This is quite a remote area. Here you can see crocodile sunning on the banks. Luckily on the other side to us.
We went for a drive to a different area of the river. The water moves very fast under this causeway.
As you can imagine, the area floods in the wet and these markers show how high the water reaches, if not higher.
We are leaving tomorrow and will go into Robin Falls and Litchfield National Park, and then Darwin. So until then, bye for now.
